My name is Kathleen Webber and I teach Magazine Writing, Advanced Magazine Writing, Writing for Interactive Multimedia, Press History and a new course called Multimedia Storytelling which will launch Spring 2015. I received an M.A. in Journalism from New York University and have spent over 20 years as a magazine writer and editor in New York and Philadelphia for such publications as W, Women’s Wear Daily, Self, and Philadelphia Style, which I helped launch in 1999 and still contribute to regularly. My bylines have appeared in publications like Women’s Health, Martha Stewart Living, InStyle, New Jersey Life, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

I serve as an advisor here for HerCampus online magazine and She’s The First non-profit club. My research focuses on ethical and sustainable fashion and I write about some of that here on my blog. My personal website is www.kathleennicholson.com.
